I bought tickets a few months ago for a Back to the Future Concert and went to it yesterday in St. Louis.

Basically the musical score was being performed live by the St. Louis Symphony to go along with a viewing of Back to the Future.
I took my two oldest kids with me, 16 and 13 and we had seats very near the front. They had a Delorean parked out front for pictures and such and I knew that Bob Gale, one of the original creators and writer/producer of Back to the Future was supposed to be there. He's actually from the St. Louis area.
It was a pretty packed house and Bob Gale came up on the stage and spoke for a few minutes about how Back to the Future came to life in St. Louis around 1980 when he was writing it. He then left the stage and the Symphony started playing and it was pretty impressive. A few minutes into the show a gentleman came and sat right in front us and it was Bob Gale. He was sitting with his 93 year old father. After the show we got to speak with him and he was kind enough to sign my daughter's Marty hat, and you can see the photo below of that.
BTTF has always been on of my favorites, and knowing I was sitting right by the creator was a cool experience.
