Cool! I suck, I didn't dress up this year when we took our kids out. But our new Prime Minister and his wife dressed up as Han and Leia in their Hoth outfits when they took their kids out today, pretty cool!

Justin Trudeau took on a more swashbuckling image Halloween night as he took his family out trick-or-treating.

I don't have kids to take out, but I did dress for my school Halloween parade yesterday. Sorry no pics, but I took a rain poncho, and a Rubies POTA chimp mask and a Ben Cooper POTA costume graphic and made myself a Ben Cooper POTA costume.

Hard to believe I began working on this costume in 2005, but it was never made to be worn (I had it on a mannequin) until now. Let me tell you, it is one uncomfortable mutha. Here's me with my next door neighbor's kids. I had a speaker with a customized breathing loop I put together, and a microphone to do the voice. I also had a guy at work do all the electronics for me, and a fan system inside the helmet. Sadly, it looks terrible when a pic is taken with a flash, but here's a good one in natural light.

EDIT: Took some better pics today

And just for fun, here's a comparison with the Kermit Eller Tour Suit that made the rounds to all the toy stores after the movie was released in 77:

Nice trio of sith. Our family did a Hogwarts theme with the kds as students in some sectacular robes that my wife made for them. Us old folks were Pof. McGonNagle and Hagrid - complete with stilts and padding to make me hslf giant. We had so much fun, we forgot to get pictures.

That New Hope Vader is really well done.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
