One "hail" of a night!

In Texas everythng's done on a grander scale . . . even our storms . . .
We had a little hail last night . . . luckily nothing in my immediate area was larger than a marble, mostly pea sized. Just west of here they had golfball to baseball sized hail, lots o' damage!! My shrubs were stripped of their leaves and the newly planted flowers took a hit but all in all just a night of fun. Although the power was out for almost all of the STARS thrashing of the Ducks so we huddled around a lantern and listened to the game on the radio.

strange, I'm in Canada wearing shrts and a t-shirt, your in Texas with hail.
Is this a global warming issue?

It doesn't matter what the temp is ......

I rememeber getting hail in NJ and the temp was like 75-80 degrees

Oooh...neat. When it hailed for us in SF (our first experience of hail)...we thought it was snow. (Our first year in the US...straight from the Philippines)...
