Anybody see the Jeff Lynne concert last night on VH1

Man, this guy has every bit of talent Paul McCartney has but doesn't seem to get the recognition from the general masses.

Been a huge fan of ELO since the mid 70's.

After watching that concert last night I have to say, Jeff still has it.

If it was the Hyde Park show, from several months ago, I saw it.

Regardless, I think he's absolutely great, as well, Mikey! Love ELO.

did not even know about it. sorry I missed it. I have always liked ELO and Lynne as a solo artist. he does not get the recognition Mac gets because he was not a Beatle. McCartney is the elder statesman for the classic rock generation.

It's sad but the ELO tour that got started a few years back got cancelled because no one bought tickets. I would have gone but all the shows were cancelled

Not sure if this is true but I read during the 70's when ELO was pumping out hit after hit they were really not all that popular in their native UK.

In contrast they were Rock Gods in the USA at that time.
