My gf and I felt the earth quake after shock here in the Midwest as well. It was really weird as I had thought that I was having some really bad dream or something. It actually woke me up out of a deep coma at around 10ish AM. I just kind of shrugged it off and went back to bed. In fact I never actually got out of bed in the first place. Then later when I did get up I had felt yet another one. Then I knew I wasn't dreaming. My gf told me that it was the after shock of an earth quake that took place somewhere in IL. It just shook the house a little bit and rattled the china cabinet some making a little noise. No damage or nothing broke that I am aware of yet anyway. This is my first experience with something of this nature so it was pretty weird to me. My gf and I watched the news and the news reported that this is one of the first in the STL area since 1968. I was not even born then. Like I said in a different thread I posted here at the Forum every day is a new day that is for sure.

Believe it or not a while afterwards before signing into the Museum you were one of the first people that I thought of. I asked myself - Self, What would Hector do in this situation? Self, answered nothing. Probably just shrug it off and go back to having one of his Mega Mego Burgers just like in the pictures that he posts.

Yep, felt here(about 40 miles from the epicenter). I was just about ready to jump in the shower this morning when it hit. Good thing I didn't run outside as I was naked

I was wondering if the people that felt the earthquake also heard the rumbling? Sometimes if it's big enough it sounds like a train rattling underground. If you were outside, you could see the ground undulate. Kinda cool but kinda scary...
Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.

Glad everyone is all right, too. There was some minor damage near where my parents live. ...Right down there, near where Evel (up there) lives

Glad everyone's okay. I felt quite a few earthquakes when I was living in Japan and it's such a freaky feeling.
