    Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast

First off, Gottfried has a serious fixation with 60s Batman TV series, and has interviewed lots of stars from the show on here.

I've been a Gottfried fan for a long time - the guy just makes me laugh - but this podcast is WAY beyond anything I ever expected from him. It's incredible. Great interviews intertwined with crazy blue humor and INSANE Hollywood stories from every era of show business.

I started listening to the episodes with the people I knew, but now I'm just listening to all of them. There's an episode with Gianni Russo from "The Godfather" on here, and it's the most entertaining and bonkers interview ever. I'm listening to the Richard Kind interview now and it's killing me.

Yeah, I recently got into that show (his Stern appearances often caused lateness to work) and I am amazed about how good an interviewer he is. The questions he asks Adam West about Cesar Romero are hilarious.

That's totally the thing - I had no idea he'd get such great interviews.

The West interview was hysterical. In another episode he asks Lee Meriwether and Julie Newmar those same questions about Romero, and it's also hilarious. I half expected one of them to walk out, but there's something about Gottfried that allows him to say anything and his guests think it's funny or even charming.

OH - and his other obsession is Universal Monsters. He's like an encyclopedia on that subject, and he LOVES Lon Chaney. I just finished listening to an interview with Butch Patrick A.K.A. Eddie Munster. Each episode there's something that gets me thinking of the topics that come up here on the Mego Forum.

I just finished the Lee Meriwether one--what fun. I'm a huge fan of hers and it's a great interview. Poor Cesar lol.

Yeah, he's an off the hook monster fan, I used to get all his super obscure jokes on the subject. His Lugois imitation on Stern was always a riot.

When he did, he's been blacklisted for a long time. Howard is family friendly now.

The Artie Lang episode is hysterical, they get on a tangent of bad sports movies that is infectiously funny.

I can't get enough of it....I've been binge listening. I don't really care for his co-host (too stiff, not very funny for being a comedy writer, etc) but Gilbert is great and they really deep dive into old Hollywood.

I just finished the Henry Winkler and Alan Thicke episodes....both awesome.

Have you listed to the Bonaduce episode? GG basically brings up every insane thing Danny has ever done and Danny is more than willing to talk about it. Which he has been for decades but it was great nonetheless.
