Kiss(band ) movie & howard the duck? Anybody please!

Does anybody here have these two movies on DVD in decent quality?

The kiss movie - Phantom in the park -- something like that!

And Howard the Duck

Heres a long shot - animalympics -- not sure if i got that name right even!!

Phantom of the park is available in their KISSology volume....two I think. It is the European version too (I'd have to go pull the box and look real quick. I have the VHS around here too probably)
Howard the Duck...yeah..gonna have to look on the bootleg circuit..ebay or sumthin.

neatest park of the movie is just getting to see KISS costumes up close and the stage.

A guy in my prop forum actually made the Talismans for a while.

Yep, that's right,it's in KISSology Volume 2. And yes it's the European cut, "Attack of the Phantoms". The transfer is quite nice, and is anamorphic widescreen (the film received a theatrical release in Europe, so that aspect ratio would be correct for that cut).

For Howard the Duck, the best you could do is try to find a "grey market" DVD that was transferred from the laserdisc. I think the only place it received an official DVD release was in Brazil.

Yeah i heard the Kiss movie is bad, but i tend to collect movies just to have them! Dont ask why, half i rarely watch, or do and laugh.

Well, the whole point in watching the Kiss movie is precisely because it is bad. The worst part about it is the first half hour or so--Kiss is not even in the movie! But once they do show up it gets pretty good and cheesy. Some of the worst acting ever.....

Howard the Duck was released on dvd in the UK a couple of months ago...if your player is multi region then no doubt you could get a UK version.

Yeah I mean, KISS Meets The Phantom is a cheesy bad movie, but I say "bleh!!" to Howard The Duck. I'll take KMTP any day. But I'm a KISS fan so I am biased, I realise this.

kmtp is the best movie ever. it's right up there with the star wars christmas special of 78. hey...must have been the year for bad tv movies. lol. i do have both on dvd(fan made ones, from evil bay)...id like to get the kissology vol 2 to see a real copy of the movie..i have the first vol..great stuff....anyways...

I highly suggest if you like KISS...get those darn KISSology volumes! For the fans who have had the bootlegs for decades, they actually have them officially released on these volumes.

I didn't know about a UK release. Besides a multi region player, you'd also have to make sure that your player can convert a PAL signal to NTSC (or if it can just pass a PAL signal and if your TV is able to display it).
