I don't think I've ever used the term rubber band --- unless singing along with Rubber Band Man

Here in my neck of the woods everybody says elastic

Whoa, I thought "elastic" was only a Canadian thing. If I call them that at work (in Buffalo, NY) I definitely get called on it ("A what???").

If in the UK they use the term maize for corn, does that mean Kellogg's Corn Flakes are called Maize Flakes there ?

Also, do they say "up your maize hole" ?

Here in the US we have Corn Maze's for halloween fun, do they have Maize Maze's in the UK ?

LOL! Never heard them use that in the UK. Here in Crapland....or Norway,as some call it.....they do though. But then again,it's a horrible and backwards language. lol
