This is really really cool...found this 8x10 photo in our old family album.
My great grandfather, Orrie Holt built this house in 1914. He lived there with his wife Emma and owned a radio and later television repair shop. My grandfather, Donald Holt was born in the house, then moved around the corner when he married my grandmother. Donald inherited the house when Emma and Orrie died in 1959, and it sat empty until my parents Marianne(Holt) and Barry Pinkney bought it in 1970. I was born there in 1972, and my sister in 1975, so four generations of my family lived there, and it's still there today and looks virtually the same. I'll try to take a current pic.
What's amazing is most of the original wood, lattice, etc. is still there. Also, that dirt road in front of the house is now a four lane highway, Route 20 that runs all the way across the country.
