No, I'm not talking about the late 1990's band. I'm referring to the upcoming Rocky spinoff film with Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone which hits theaters November 25. Actually looking forward to this movie. The TV spot dropped this past week. Probably explains why Rocky 1-V have been getting so much TV time the last couple of weeks. Eye Of the tiger.

Yep, I'm looking forward to it as well. Watched Rocky again, yesterday, and Rocky 2 a couple of weeks back. As much as I like the Rocky series, I really want Stallone to do a new Rambo movie. -
I've loved the Rocky movies since the beginning but have not had as much fun seeing IV-Balboa at the theater as I did with I-III. The first three were exciting experiences, with the whole theater getting into the fight sequences; everyone chanting "Rocky!" and booing Apollo and Clubber Lang (and Thunderlips). The last movies were like watching a regular movie. If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.Comment

I don't consider this to even be a Rocky movie. This is a spin off.
I'm not expecting much despite my love for the character.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

Apollo Creed was not exactly a likable character, he reminded me of young Muhammad Ali and Floyd Mayweather at their most obnoxious stages of their careers.
In Rocky IV, I was actually rooting for Ivan Drago.

I think it looks really good. I just fear it will not have the charm of the Rocky movies because they will try and update it for "young" audiences....read modern. it will be interesting to see how it doesComment
