I like baseball and soccer, but the NFL does nothing for me ..I just find it boring. When someone asks me to play fantasy football I just say no. Not to rain on anybody's parade, but does anyone feel the same way? Unfortunately the NFL is so popular that I hear all about league news without actively seeking out information.

This is a perfect case of "to each his own" cause American Football is the ONLY sport I give a hoot about. Baseball, soccer, basketball, golf - I am bored to tears. Might as well listen to bowling on the radio. Fantasy football is a very intricate game and I enjoy it immensely. Another great example is action figures. I see all the posts about World's Greatest Super Heroes. Who gives a RIP! If it isn't apes or monsters, you can have 'em! That's what makes the world a fun place - different people like different things! -

I used to enjoy football very much. However, EvilSPN has completely turned me off to the sport (and its very own network) due to the incessant blabber of everything football related. Football dominates their coverage and banter to the point where even on the day after the MLB All*Star Game, a day in which no other sport has any games being played; most of the discussion was still related to NFL training camps, pre-season outlook and the draft. I got so sick of hearing about football that it turned me off to the entire sport. I have not watched an entire football game (college or pro) in over three years. I keep up with the scores online only for gambling purposes. If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.Comment

I miss the days before ESPN,MLB NETWORK, NFL NETWORK, and even TMZ when you never heard anything about the private lives of players. ONce the seasons were over the season was over. It is a media Overkill nowdays in sports. Don't even get me started on Penalties, flags, camera angels, instant replays, etc etc..
That's why I just watch the games these days. All of the shows about sports, are not about the actual sports, but of the horrible off field stuff and the drama with the players.Comment

I'm just not into NFL so far. I'm an Eagles fan, and they and the whole NFC East are tough to watch. At this point, it feels like we're just killing time until the Pats & Packers meet in the Super Bowl. On the positive side, Ohio State's struggles are at least interesting to follow. I figured they'd be winning by 50 in sleeper games.Comment

Nope! I think NFL Football is so much more entertaining than baseball and soccer, particularly soccer. I just can't wrap my mind around why that is such a popular spectator sport. After watching them all run up and down the field about a thousand times with a score of 1-0, I tend to lose interest."Trying is the first step towards failure." - H. J. Simpson, 1997Comment

It kind of makes me sick that this huge, global billion dollar corporation pays absolutely ZERO TAXES!- look it up if you don't believe me. Teams still hold cities hostage- Build us a stadium or we'll leave.....other sports do that,too.....I know.
Head trauma and brain injuries- they still deny it....
Sorry if this violates the politics rules here.....but it's kind of important.Comment
