I decided to ask you guys, if you ever been through this or a similar problem with the iTunes.
I use the iTunes matched with a 30gb iPod video device. All better than good with that, until this morning.
I opened the laptop and as always I was going to listen to some music with the iTunes and found out the library is all gone. There was none at home, and I was the last one that using the computer, just last night. Thing is there were 684 songs available of the almost 18000 songs that I used to have! To say the least I was in shock. I searched on Google what to do, I did a couple of things, lost the libraries trying to import stuff, and now I'm sitting in front of this wondering why I haven't been shot with a .38 caliber instead!
I still have all of the mp3 music files, but reinstalling them is going to take me not hours but days to have things just as I had them last night. Can't tell you how frustrating this is!
Now, while I pretty much can see this has no fix all I'd like to know what's the best thing to do to avoid such thing to happen again. When searching there's different sources making different statements about problems like these - all I want to hear is something from someone who actually gone through the same type of problem with iTunes.
I wonder if there is some limits to iTunes, like if my 80GB of .mp3 files was too much for it to work properly or what. I've been using iTunes without any problems until this morning, and I suspect there must have been something wrong with it.
Anybody would like to share some experience, and if possible a way to avoid this problem to happen again?
You all have a good week
