I wanted to be a police officer at from about 4-8.

I probably was around 7 or 8 and was dead serious about becoming a professional football player for the Washington Redskins. I was so serious, I took my helmet, ran away from home, and started walking toward Washington. Made it all the way to the end of my road before turning around and walking home.

I wanted to run a mutual fund when I was teenager and kept that dream alive graduating with a Finance Degree from a well respected college and ready to head to New York but I met my wife and she would have nothing to do with it so I settled for Accounting, went back to school for a 2nd degree and a CPA license....no regrets at all.

I always wanted to be a professional baseball player. Unfortunately, that dream died after a blown-out knee and shoulder my sophomore year at the University of Illinois. I took my freshman year off to try to rehab them both, but never would have been anything more than a bench warmer. The knee was fine, the shoulder was not, and completely limited my choice of positions. Turns out there's not a real high demand for right-handed first basemen with speed who hit for average.

If I couldn't be a baseball player, I wanted to be an architect or a novelist. However, my hand skills were atrocious. Transferred from architecture into Creative Writing during my sophomore year and never looked back. Still haven't finished my first novel "Rank," yet, but it's close. However, I've been working as a writer for a publishing company for almost 11 years now. I'm getting there.

At first I wanted to be a wigwam then I thought about being a tepee. Then I thought about being a wigwam again, but I still wanted to be a tepee. I could not really decide so I went to my Doctor for help and he told me that I was just too "tents".

All joking aside I had actually thought about being a professional Baseball player when I was younger. I never really pursued that interest though. I will still be happy to sign any autographs for all of the fans that I would have had. Family members told me that I should have been an Attorney. I just could not see my self screwing complete strangers out of their money on a daily basis so I decided to settle and just be the pimp instead.
