Former REO Speedwagon guitarist Gary Richwrath has passed away. He co-wrote several of the group's songs including their biggest hit 'Take It On the Run'. Gary co-founded the band along with lead vocalist Kevin Cronin in 1970 and stayed with the band until 1989.
