I see a funny side, but at the end of the day that's just crazy.
I returned a brand new laptop to an eBay seller a few years back because it just wasn't up to scratch. This person got very aggressive in demanding I pay for the laptop and all the shipping costs. Then went as far as threatening court action and telling me about my court costs, yadda, yadda, yadda..... I told them to go ahead as they wished and gave a few other polite pointers. Suffice to say, I never heard a thing back.
How I love eBay at times and sellers with their own laws. -
If I read it right, the customer started this whole thing over $1.44 in shipping she needed to pay extra?
Couldn't she just have messaged: "Hey, what about this $1.44?"
The company would have sent her the money, that was clear.
No wonder sellers feel they get a raw deal on Ebay..
