I can get gas for $3.09 here. But diesel and heating oil have been up. I spent $3000+ this winter in oil. (Sept-Now)It was about $700 to $800 per fillup. My tank is 250 gallons. Both heat and hot water are oil heated so it can get some hefty usage. Especially when the family is all home like the holidays and spring break. I think it was around $3.30 last time I filled and I'll be due in about a week or two. I think it's $3.72 last time I saw the truck driving around,(they now advertise the price on the trucks in this area).
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I'm glad I went with electric heat for my home...still pricey but not as expensive as oil.

Gas prices are about $3.27 in my area. If I searched I could probably find it $.10 cheaper but there are places charging well above $3.27 so I'm paying a below average price.

I drive an SUV (20 MPG) and can get away with one fill up per week which is about $45-$50 which covers my commute, errands and getting the kids to sports events. We have made a conscious effort to combine errands to try to save on gas.

Just heard this morning of a big new find in Brazil

Hopefully, that will off-set the a-rab prices.

It's relatively cheap compared to many liquids.

Will the high cost of oil hav an effect on our toys as it did in the 70's? Thats when all the action figures started shrinking in size.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

Yes it will. You should immediately send me any vintage 12" GI Joes of which I will quickly replace them with a pile of broken bits that used to be SuperJoes. It would be unAmerican of you not to do this at your earliest convenience.

It already is. I've heard that stuff like the smaller G.I. Joe figures have jumped from $4.xx to $5.xx and are sitting at $6.xx at Wal-Mart. This in about a month span.

3.21 for gas in OK. That's really high for us.

We use natural gas for heating. Better that the home heating oil, I guess.

I am so sick of hearing that the price of petrol has gone up so often when I turn the news on lately.

I just hope that Brazil strike is a good one.
It would be nice to see some competition in the gas market-place
In the end, it could mean lower prices.
