Loved the series. Was not real impressed with the trailer for the movie.
Will probably go anyway. Going to check out Ice Cube et al as well eventually.

Saw the movie and dug it.

Not the greatest film but it was fun and entertaining. It really had just the thinnest of threads connecting it to the TV show. I agree that it might have done better as a new franchise rather than cash in on the bane if an existing TV show.

Couple of times the use of split screens was annoying but I still would see it again.

So, Guy Ritchie was indeed the special guest at the end of MIB yesterday. However, U.N.C.L.E. was barely mentioned. Aside from the EPL stuff, all they talked about was some King Arthur movie with David Beckham (?!).

Saw U.N.C.L.E last week, it's light on story but heavy on flavour. Really impressed with Cavill as Solo, they changed Illya's character but Solo is a wonderful Robert Vaughn rendition. I thought it was a good movie and deserved better turn out but it's not a summer blockbuster either.
