Man from UNCLE an even bigger bomb than Fantastic Four...

Holy crap, Man from UNCLE made only 13.5 million at the box office on its debut...while Straight Outta Compton made a very strong and surprising 56.1 million...

N.W.A. fans across the country expressed themselves by heading to the theaters; meanwhile, 'U.N.C.L.E.' was the spy movie left out in the cold.

Holy smokes, I better go see it this Wednesday...because the Blu-Ray is going to available at Target by the end of the month...

I don't care if Compton gets an A plus and a smiley face, I want to see the spy movie.

I am a big fan of the U.N.C.L.E. tv series and was looking forward to the movie. I knew the movie would be different and that it was an origin tale. I was extremely disappointed. If you just watch it as a spy/action movie it's not bad. I dont want to get into spoilers but don't expect it to bare any resemblance to the tv series. I enjoyed Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movies so I gave it a try and wish I hadn't wasted my time. I went home and watched a couple of episodes of the "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." to make up for the movie.

                        SPOILERS!!!! SPOILERS!!!..........

My biggest complaint with this film in the title! It should be The Man NOT From U.N.C.L.E. In this movie the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement does not exist and receives only a brief mention in the closing credits! The names Naploeon Solo and Ilya Kuryakin could have been changed to Fred and Ivan and the exact same film could have been made. I forgot Waverly but the name change applies to him as well. If you expect this to resemble the tv series it doesnt't.

I think Guy Ritchie is the special guest tomorrow on Men In Blazers, for anyone else who's a fan of that show.

I had the U.N.C.L.E. action figures as a kid, thanks to a kindly neighbor. They were quite cool.

I hope the N.W.A. movie doesn't brush over the parts with the Fila Fresh Crew and Arabian Prince. Because those were the best parts.

Here's one more line in this post, since I prefer even numbers. Thanks for reading.

I had a feeling it wouldn't do good and I'm a fan of the tv series.

Didn't like the trailer, so I won't spend my money on it.
Doens't feel like UNCLE at all, with some pretty lame humor. They just used the title, and that's it.
