How many wallets have you owned?

I've been using the same one for about 10 years now, it's holding up pretty good. Of course, it's never full, so there's little wear and tear. Still, I'd say I've probably had only about 4 or 5 total, since I started using one back in high school (1976). I seem to never change until they absolutely fell apart.
How about everyone else?

Interesting. Since 1986 I've had four, maybe five. My buddy from MN brought me a pretty expensive one last March but it's been sitting in its box untouched. I actually don't like carrying stuff in my pockets. I rarely go out with money, just my id, and c-card and that is all.

I hate wallets....but I've had the same Eddie Bauer super-thin wallet-thingy that only holds 3 credit/debit cards, my license, and cash (or receipts) for about 10 years.

If I have to carry it, it's thin enough to fit in my back pocket. Mostly I give it to the pack horse (my wife) to carry around in her bag. :-)

I'm probably on 5-6 since 1980...and I still have my 1980 wallet in a box somewhere. What's sad is that I've bought backups on clearance when they're crazy cheap, so I've probably got more than a lifetime supply in reserve.

About 5 years ago I had to shop for a new wallet and hated it.... I'm just too picky about them. The one I had before that was at least 10-15 years old or more I'd guess. I'd probably still be using that wallet, but it got dunked in a swimming pool when I jumped in to help get someone struggling from the bottom of the pool. That wallet just wasn't the same after that and it finally fell apart.

It took me trying out a number of wallets before I found one I liked and I ended up buying another one just like it as a spare, so I'm set for a while

I'm also carry mine in my front pocket, not back pocket.

I've gone through 'who knows' how many in the last five years or so. My current one is coming up to 2 years old. It's a leather Jack Daniels one that my cousin gave me for Christmas. I have reserve Marvel and Superman ones ready to go though.

Since I've been married (25 years), I've had two. It would have been one but my mother-in-law bought me a new wallet about a year ago and my wife pestered me about using it ("It was very expensive!") so I changed out a month or so ago.

I don't keep a lot in there; A few dollars, license, health insurance card, debit card and a six pack of Goody's

I need a new one. The card holder on one side is just about gone. I fill mine way too much, and keep way too many cards in it. I never seem to have much cash in it.

I have no idea how many wallets I've had. Maybe 6 or 7? I do let them fall apart before moving on.

I've been using a cigarette case for about 5 years. It's my second in 15 years. It forces me to limit the number of cards I carry and fits easily into my front pocket. Being a city kid, I've never carried my wallet in my back pocket. Too easily stolen.
