    >I'm still waiting for the Next UnderWorld Movie myself. I was a Big fan of the 2 movies that were made.

I think they kinda, sorta did..... The Underworld movies are REAL similar (IE: they got sued) to the "World of Darkness" Vampire and Werewolf RPGs that Whie Wolf put out. There was ANOTHER movie; not sure if it was the same folks, that came out a year or so back about spoiled kids with powers over reality that's REAL similar (IE: they SHOULD be sued) to the "World of Darkness" Mage game. Co-inkey-dinkelley the third World of Darkness RPG White Wolf put out.

If the trend continues the next one will be about ghosts.

And on an unrelated note; "War of the Gargantuas" technically IS a sequel. To "Frankenstein Conquers the World." Although the connection is kinda tenuous, even in the original Japanese version.

Airplane 3!, The Incredibles, History of the World part 2, More Austin Powers (actually a movie of just Dr. Evil would be great) The Phantom, Rocketeer, Passion of the Christ.

austin powers would be about scott evil, more than likely..since they kinda left GM that way....but who knows...i love the AP stuff...
airplane 3 would be ok, but they would make it like today's spoofs(meet the spartans, epic movie)then it would pretty much suck. if they made it old school(like originals) then it would be cool.

Blade Runner is one I've always wanted a sequel to!

Also: The Incredibles, And DareDevil as well(the Director's Cut was much better).

A couple of the films mentioned did or do have sequels in the works.
Lost in Space the movie sequel was canned in favor of a reunion movie. Partway through filming the guy who played Doc Smith passed away, putting the kibash on that project.

Austin Powers 4 is in the works. There was some kind of legal issues when New Line swapped hands/went under, but all has been settled and the sequel is in the casting process right now.

Incredibles 2 is written, and apparently in the line up waiting to proceed.

The Phantom movie did gangbusters in Europe, and a sequel was planned for the European market only, but I seem to recall funding fell apart due to 9-11...?

Passion of the Christ: Depending on your beliefs, the sequel is coming...soon.

Nobody mentioned it, but The Naked Gun: 44 Magnum with a twist (I think thats what it was going to be called...memories not what it used to be), was due to enter production....then it turned out Nordberg was really OJ Simpson and he may or may not have killed his wife.

Another Leslie Nielson masterpiece-"Spy Hard", had a sequel idea floating around called "Spy Harder", but it never floated to the surface.

As for the "should have a sequel" category:

I agree, Rocketeer needed another run.
The Shadow...mind you, the sequel would need to be heavily reworked.
Blazing Saddles. (Burning Lariats, Sizzling Chaps,....?)
Another Smokey and the Bandit (with the original cast)
Superman: The Movie (I prefer to ignore the real sequels for the most part)
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ---whatever happened to the car, and Truly Scrumptious?
              "Crayons taste like purple!"

                        Call Me Crazy

But I always wanted to see a Spinal Tap 2. Last we saw of the crew, they were headed off on tour to Japan.

Say Anything 2. I want to know what happened to Lloyd Dobbler.

Goonies 2. Yeah, I know, rumor has it there's going to be an animated sequel. Not the same, though. Goonies never say die!!!!!

Ferris Bueller's Midlife Crisis would be fun, too.

I sure hope the Incredibles gets a sequel. Disney recently announced all their animated offerings through 2013 or so, and Incredibles 2 was nowhere on the list (Toy Story 3 and Cars 2 was, though).

Ferris Bueller update would be cool. He could skip work and go find Cameron.

It's cheesy and ridiculous but also great fun, and gory and sexy and sorcerous and just plain cool. In the 90s, my now-screenwriter friend and I did a comic book version of the promised sequel (based on the first credit at the end: "Look for Talon's next adventure: Tales of the Ancient Empire: Coming Soon!"), which Harry Knowles read a couple of years ago and evidently really enjoyed. In fact, that comic is being made into a low-budget CGI movie (with the names changed to bear no resemblance to the original movie). Let's just say I await the real "Tales" with great anticipation...!
