Did your mall have a Suncoast or Saturday Matinee video store ?

If there's anything about the 90's I miss it's loitering in Suncoast or Saturday Matinee video stores.

    My mall had them both.

Oh, those were great. I remember picking up my first WIDESCREEN VHS videos there... The Hammer Horror series. Dracula, Prince of Darkness, Rasputin, the Reptile. Good times. They used to sell a lot of Star Wars vinyl figures by Applause.

Had a Suncoast. Bought the 95 THX widescreen Star Wars VHS box set there. Still have it. Nice store. Had action figures and trading cards too.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

We had a Suncoast, but seemed they were always so expensive with all their movies.

I remember Star Trek 5 The Final Frontier being $69.00 at Suncoast ... when it was still new of course

Had Suncoast here, loved going to that store, I remember being in the mall the day Willow finally was released on dvd and they were doing it up pretty big and of course I grabbed a copy since it's one of my all time favorites.

The three malls near me did not. However, further away malls did and I really enjoyed going there.

In college I would get two episodes of the Transformers cartoon on a VHS! And they always had a good selection of toys too.

I wonder if there is a suncoast still around here anywhere. We have a movie stop over in Macon and they recently went in with somebody, last time I went in half the store was toys and such, all the funko figures, the Mego like super heroes and several other lines. they had all kinds of cool stuff.

Yep, for a while there in the '90s it seemed like I was going into the Suncoast Video in Southlake Mall, Merrillville, Indiana, on a weekly basis! During those early '90s years I was always buying Trek and SW stuff there, before you could find that stuff in almost every and any store like you could after the prequels came out.
