My day didn't exactly turn out the way it was intended.
We had planned to go to Sealife Park, but the weather was against us: it felt like late autumn, heavy winds, and buckets and buckets of rain!
We changed plans to "indoors", and ended up rescheduling our trip. Luckily, my wife gave me a pile of books! A set of five books with Victorian ghost stories, which are amazing. I especially love Robert Chambers' "The King in Yellow", which inspired Lovecraft in his writing. I also believe it inspired season 1 of True Detective.
To get away from all those ghosts, we ended up seeing Minions. Fun movie, and we laughed like little kids.
Not a bad day after all!
Still can't believe I'm 50, though....
