GI Joe Collectors, I need your help...

I've had this album in my posession for the last 2 years and have only seen one copy of the record on Ebay in that time period:

This is a cleaned up scan of the album I have...I planned on recording it on CD and make a cover for the jewel case. It's in slightly lesser condition. No seam splits or tears at all. Record is in nice condition to...but could use a cleaning which I intend to do when I get my record cleaning machine (Hopefully very soon). The help I need is this:

Is it a rare GI Joe piece??? and if so how much is it worth. The last one I saw on ebay, which was about 2 years ago, went for about $50. Any help on this record is gladly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know how rare it is but you can find a zip file of the album at Children's Records & More: G. I. Joe - Stories Of Patriotic Americans - The Story Of The Green Beret
Read my blog at Moongem Comics about comics, toys and more.

Bump. With all the Joe collectors here there isn't one Joe Collector that can give me any info on value of this record??? I find that hard to believe. C'mon Joe Collectors.

This is the first I've seen of this. I'll ask around.

Interesting... I've found out that the record was produced for the GI Joe Club back in the 1960's and was used as a special Club Offer. So, yes, it is relatively rare.

If you've seen it go for $50, then that's what it's worth. I suspect that there are some out there who would pay more. It's a better bet to get the record digitalized and sell copies of the CD.

I have a copy on cd that desimone made years ago. odds are you would get a better feel for price from a record dealer.
