    New Horizon's Pluto Mission 7/14/2015

Pluto may have been reduced to a "dwarf planet" within the last few years but 7/14/2015 it will outshine Jupiter

Live pictures will be shown as they come in on the Nasa Channel

New Horizons was the first spacecraft to explore Pluto and its five moons up close and, later, made the first close exploration of a Kuiper Belt Object.

I think it may also be simulcast on the Science Channel

I think they should stop messing with Pluto's status.
        Planet.
        Celestial object.
        Dwarfplanet.

Residents of Pluto must be very confused by now.

I don't care what Pluto is called, as long as we get awesome pictures.
I hope the spacecraft keeps working well over the next few days...
This is really exciting. My favorite event this year!

As far as I'm concerned it will always be a planet.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

One thing I don't understand, It seems like all the pictures the spacecraft took of Pluto are very low quality.

Considering it's only 2 days away this makes me wonder if low quality pics is all we can expect ?

                Here's the latest photo.

Nasa should really stop using the WalMart one hour photo service.

Maybe the Plutonians are jamming the signals: "Call us a dwarfplanet? Take this, Earthlings!!!"

That show was such a letdown.

I wish they would have said ahead time they would show pictures already posted days before.

                      What a ripoff.

If you missed it consider yourselves lucky

I just think it's astounding when you realize that any picture you get from Pluto is coming from THREE BILLION MILES AWAY! That's frikkin' astounding!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

                            Not dropped. Moved. Channel 352.

You need HD equipment to get it even though it is broadcast in SD.
