Thanks! I had a great day! Gifts from my daughter. Cake from my wife. One of our cats ate part of the cake as it was cooling. So we shamed her publicly. You can see the huge hunk she got.
Then we went to see the 40th Anniversary Screening of JAWS at the theater, which was just a joy. I caught myself with a smile on my face from start to finish. And Ben Gardner's head still shocked me after all these years! Fantastic experience.
I am, of course, the resident Creepshow nut, so Father's Day holds a special place for me. So I made up this little tribute in photoshop:
I messaged it to the actor John Amplas who played Nate, the cake-obsessed Father in the film, and even got a little reply from him!
