    Macca Turns 73 today...

Happy Birtday to Sir Paul McCartney. 73 years old and still touring. Hope I have that much energy when I get to that age.

One of my favorite McCartney/Wings songs:

"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

    - "Isn't It A Pity"
    By George Harrison

Just watched Rockshow on PBS the other day

    Never seen it before then

Was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it --- Thought he would do a lot of songs I've never heard of.

Speaking of Rockshow, I don't understand why people used to rag on Linda for being a bad singer -- I always thought she sounded fine--- Compared to Yoko Linda's a freakin singing virtuoso

Happy birthday Sir Paul. I'd love to take my son to one of his concerts (he's a huge Beatles fan), just wish the tickets weren't so expensive.

I keep meaning to pick up Rockshow on Blu-ray, haven't seen the film in years.

        Happy birthday, Paul!!
The man is truly a master among masters. Centuries will come and go, and he'll remain immortal in the history of popular music and western culture. The one & only Paul McCartney!

I have never had a problem with Linda's singing either, she gave some harmony in the music. I picked up the Rockshow bluray when it was released last year, it is a great disc. I love the extras at the end when they show Ringo and Harry Nilsson show up backstage, both obviously drunk, with a drink in hand
