I had my own little Goodwill find over the weekend. My son wanted to purchase some Pokemon cards from a sportscard shop and there is a Goodwill right next door.
I told him for us to look in there first because there may be some in there at a great price. Didn't find any and did notice that they have the "collectible" type stuff in a locked glass case.
I did stumble across a barely used pair of name brand ski boots that fit my daughter perfectly!!! I realize she'll probably use them for one season but my younger son will get to wear them. These boots typically run about $300+ new but they were priced at $7.50. I told my wife at that price our kids can use them and when they're done, I can probably sell them on Ebay for $50 or so a few years down the road. Funny enough as I was standing in line a couple of people knew how expensive ski boots are and asked me how much and just about fell over when I said $7.50...."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
