Had to say goodbye today

The last 6 months we have been trying to keep our Kit Kat as comfortable and healthy as we could after her surgery to remove the tumors. They came back and even after further treatment she lost her battle today. Seeing a real decline the last couple days we took her to the vet today and she said it was time to let her go. We had got her from the Human Society in March of 2009. She was in rough shape from the start, missing teeth and beat up from being abused . It took months to get her healthy and in good spirits and her thick furry coat to fill back in. She by far was the favorite of the pack. The smallest of the all, but she ruled the house. Kit Kat you will be missed , now our furry angel in Heaven.
