If you frame it and display it, be careful.
Animation cells deteriorate, and they can't handle light well. It's often the dark lines that start disappearing, and you're left with just colored segments.

Thanks for the heads up. It will be in my basement for sure, so the light sources can be controlled. I will remember to mention the need for uv protection to the framer.

I had a couple of animation frames, and I framed them and put them high on the living room wall, well out of direct sunlight, and still the black lines disappeared.
I guess it also depends on the process used to create them. Some may be more resilient than others.
They are fragile things, not intended to "live" this long, but then again, so are most toys, right?
It's a matter of handling them with care. Treat your "baby" well! (which I think will not be a problem...)
