Did anyone watch the celebrity show last night with George Takei?

It was really bad...I only watched a few minutes of it but the basic premise was a celebrity trying to show off a talent they aren't normally known for.

George Takei sang a country song....I can't even remember what it was but it was so horrible it was hilarious and he was a good sport about it.

I have no idea who the one judge was but he made a really bad joke about George singing "Brokeback Mountain Style" and then said something along the lines of try not to suck so much next time. I don't think his rude humor went over so well.

It's humorous, but a bit forced. I wonder if he's feeling that he has to play a stereo-type now? Or is this just who he is and we never got the chance to see it before? Too bad we can't be in a world where he could've been himself in public years ago. Hope I'm not getting on too much of a soap-box

I get the impression from hearing him on Howard Stern over the years that is just who he is...

I can honestly say that he comes across as the nicest and most genuine person from the original Star Trek series.

I hated The William Shatner Roast just because of the fact that they really went after George Bad. Go after Bill , Yeah you expect that its his roast.

A few gay jokes about George.. OK But he is a nice guy and they really treated him like SH*T. It was painful to watch.

I didn't see the show but I read it got cancelled directly after airing that first episode.
