    anyone about turtles toys ?

got my toystalking hands on some factory fresh turtles toys, clearly direct factory unassembled items

trouble is they are all in japanese so i cant make out most of the text
there is a sticker and and date saying mirage studios 1990
i have 2 different sets of backing cards 1 which i just deleted by mistake doh! and this 1 pictured, i have the bubbles and weapons, in a large box then there are a few hundred loose turtle figures, 1 of which is clearly bootleg and the other is stamped mirage 1990, ive tried on a few teenage mutant ninja turtle toy sites but even they cant get to the bottom of these, anyone here seen of these before or know anyone i can turn to who knows there turtles figures

    always much appriciate

    I would say,
If you can't get any info --- Try putting them on ebay for a dumb high amount.
You might get some Japanese collectors emailing you to tell you what they are.
    Good samaritans

But expect some saying-- ARE YOU CRAZY !!!

They're probably just a Japanese release of the american product. They re-released all sorts of the original figures in the mid 90's. It was when they were playing the old cartoons again on TV and one of the live action movies was released. They have Mirage Studios credit given so they were obviously licensed. The weapons are all the wrong color. All my vintage weapons from the original line are tan if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if they changed weapon colors for the re-releases, never got that deep into the newer stuff. They might sell OK on Ebay in the US because of the Japanese cards but I don't think the TMNT market is too good right now. Not a lot of interest that I've seen. I've held onto most of my stuff hoping the price increases later. If you have all 4 turtles, I would list them as a set. The overseas shipping cost would be the biggest issue with a bidder, but the complete set might be enough of an attraction. One of the TMNT sites should be able to tell you what weapons came with each character. I see the katana sword and the sai's but not the Bo staff or nunchuks, so you may only have two of the four turtles. Raphael had the sai's, Donatello had the staff, Michelangelo had the nunchuks, and Leonardo had the katana swords. I think. If you got a bunch put some on at a reasonable buy it now and see what happens. Then increase your price if it sells fast. Leave some time between auctions so you don't kill the market, if there is one.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I use to collect turtles, and i've never seen those cards or those colored weapons.Their original US weapons were a dark orange brown color, these figures look pretty cool but they just look like a cheaper bootleg version of the originals, you could see the painting on the knee straps is a little sloppy

do you have all 4 or just Ralph and Donatello?

The writing on the cards is actually Korean, not Japanese. At any rate, these look like boots to me.

Right now might not be the best time to sell them, because the line based on artwork from the comic series was recently released, and they are incredible. There are four turtles to a set, and you can get color or black and white versions.

I also just found out that in addition to four-packs, the comic-accurate Turtles will be available in single packs. The four-packs have weapons, but single-carded is the only way to get their display stands.

Those are Korean. I have a bunch of japanese microman in Korean packages. Same product, different boxes. Also some zoids. And a few model kits. Korea licenses a lot of product for domestic release rather than import. I don't know if it is a legal thing or not, but you can can find a lot of good product for cheap in the korean packages. It's almost always worth way less than the original versions.

Though the paint ops on the two turtles you posted look a little sloppy. they may be just bootlegs. Compare them to an american turtle (I know nothing of the turtles). My Micromen and zoids are exact when compared to an original (down to the stamped copyright) only the packages differ.

                    Hmmmm....

They're probably bootlegs. They look like slightly wonky versions of the 80's toys.
