    RIP B. B. King

Kind of knew it was coming but still it doesn't prepare you for something like this. Loved hearing this man play. A true legend is gone. Rip Mr. King.

Very sad. . He was truly a soulful, talented man. RIP BB. I wonder what will happen to Lucille?

Wasn't the original Lucille stolen at some point?

Anyway, sad news. He was a great musician.

My first introduction to him and his music was when he appeared on Sanford and Son.

I always liked the album he did with Eric Clapton.

Thats awfully sad news. I know somone who used to do sound for him when he was on tour. He said he was always great to work with on the road. I liked the song he did with U2 - when love comes to town.

Very sad news, another classic musician now singing with the angles.

So sad to hear this. Unfortunately when someone goes into hospice care it usually is not a very good sign. Had the pleasure of seeing BB 2 years in a row at the Newport Jazz Festival back in the mid 90's. Each year he close out the show and was AMAZING! I've been telling friends to go and see him while they still could. Up until about 6 months ago he was still doing shows. Incredible singer and incredible guitar player. One of the blues greats. Thanks BB for all the great music you gave us. RIP.

Two of the greats on a great John Hiatt song:

"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
                          The beauty that surrounds them
                          Isn't it a pity".
