    RIP Geoffrey Lewis

He was in so many television shows and movies, it's hard to count them all. But what I identified him with the most was his role in Salem's Lot. RIP Geoffrey.

Oh No!!!! He was so fantastic in Salem's Lot. I make no exaggeration when I say his performance shaped a great deal of my childhood.

By all accounts, a wonderful fellow, and father of actress Juliette Lewis.

Totally agree about Salem's Lot, ""Look at me Teacher""

Sorry to hear he's gone and I had no idea Juliette Lewis was his daughter.

^Wow, I didn't know that either. I remember him best from his roles in Clint Eastwood films, particularly the "Any Which Way" films.

        Great character actor. RIP.

I'm not kidding... that scene scared the bejeezus out of me. I was 7 years old, literally covering my eyes.

Now,of course, I absolutely adore that movie and his performance. He was really the only actor who did a New England accent in it. Really great.

I had no idea he was Juliette Lewis' father...wow.

I also remember him most with his association with Clint Eastwood.

                RIP.

He was funny in the early NBC episodes of Mama's Family as Claude Cainmaker.
