Heres what I drove from 1979-1984

        My 70's rides from 76-80

Halloween Dressup day as HS Seniors complete with authentic (firing pin removed) Tommygun. Got busted by the local cops for having people riding on the running boards!

The guy in the shot signing the trunk lid is none other than John Schneider: Bo Duke.

I was able to sell it to a great guy from a General Lee fan club so I can keep track of it a see it whenever I want.

It has a new ROUCHE crate motor. New paint and body work, all new interior.

Its HOT. My kids love it and I can't wait to show it off this year.

The coolest one for me was a 1970 Chevelle. I had it brought up from Texas. I rebuilt the engine, did some bodywork, painted it and then drove the hell out if it. All was great until my drunk neighbor got into a fight with his girlfriend and decided to kick in every panel on my car. Maybe someday I will own another one.

Jumpin' F*****G Jehosaphat! The Black Beauty!!!!

The BB is one of the coolest cars ever, right up there with the Batmobile. That even looks like a 1966 Chrysler! It bloody well looks like the real deal... You didn't used to / still sell boats did you???

I especially like the machine guns up front. Very handy in the rush hour!

I still have a soft spot in my heart for my frist car (1979 Pontiac catalina ) but it wasn't a cool car. When i got out of the army I bought my first brand new car a 1996 Thunderbird - still driving it everyday today 175000 miles later. I waffled over that and a transam for weeks before i chose the bird (of course now it has 2 kids car seats in back). Doesn't turn any heads (they're too common) but I love it.

I wanted to have a WOW car A couple months ago I bought a S&H replica torino on ebay motors but the seller ripped me off (rebuilt salvage car sold as a clear title) at least I only put 2500 out but it's still annoying looking at it every morning.

Starsky I just love your Black Beauty. But it's your S&H Torino I am the most fond of. I have considered buying a ragged out Torino to restore. But then I look at my current project - a 1985 RS Capri that needs some attention to the rust on the lower interior door panels and I think twice. Considering investing in this product called "Rust Doctor" to just try and stop the rusting process and go ahead and get her painted black, but I'm not sure if it will work. But I digress...Anyway great looking cars Starsky!
