Target shoppers...check your receipts before you leave.

There was a news report that Target overcharges shoppers. I think ABC's World News Tonight did the report. Well, in the last 4 months it has happened to me twice. First time was when I was buying Sterlite 66 Qt. totes and the second time was today when I bought a Iron Man DVD 3 pack. The totes mistake was $2.00 off per tote. I bought 5 of them. Almost left the store before I looked at my receipt. Went over to the Customer Service desk and asked the cashier to scan the tote. They were supposed to scan at $6.99 and the scanned at $8.99. Told her it was in the ad that was posted before you walked into the store. Today I went to buy a few things that they advertised on sale, X-Men Days Of Futures Past for $8 and Superman Man Of Steel at $4. While in the department looking at other DVD's that were on sale I saw a Iron Man 3 pack for $8.99. I need only Iron Man 3 so for $8.99 it's a bargain. Buy it and looked at my receipt before leaving the store and see that they charged me $17.99 for the 3 pack. Go over to the customer service counter and tell the cashier that it should be $8.99 and not $17.99. There was a price tag on the shelf with the price of $8.99.

Be careful when you shop at Target and check your receipts before you leave. I wonder how much extra $$$ they take in when they overcharge and aren't held accountable for it?

We shop at Target all the time...we dig Target...but yes, we have noticed and caught overcharged items on few occasions.

Case in point...we buy our elderly dementia-stricken mother these cool little adhesive stickers (she loves them)...they have different themes, like animals, cartoon characters, houses, cars, etc. Well, they go for about a dollar each set (100 stickers per sheet). We bought a dozen of them ($12). While loading the goods into the car...we checked the receipt...and Target had charged a whopping $36, for something worth only one third the price. Our money was reimbursed to the correct amount. The cashier was quite apologetic though, so no issues nor scenes were created, lol.

So yes, it happens at Target. But despite that...we rather go to Target a trillion times more...than that disgusting trashy ghetto arse Walmart...unless you enjoy super rude, aggressive, and crass people...with trash all over the parking lot.

I'm with Hector, I would rather shop Target than go into one of the dirty WalMart stores and have to deal with some of the freaks that shop there

              Thanks for the heads up......

Yes, Wal-Mart is like Hell on Earth..................just a big hassle from the time you step in the parking lot until you leave.
