    RIP Cynthia Lennon...

Cynthia Lennon has passed away from a short battle with Cancer. Here is Julian's beautiful tribute that was posted on You Tube:

Very strong woman that took a lot of crap from Beatles Fans, John Lennon, and Yoko. She pushed through all of that crap to have a somewhat normal life. RIP Cynthia.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

    - "Isn't It A Pity"

It's an odd thought that to many Beatles fans, her memory/legacy equates to thoughts of "the girl mentioned getting beat in Getting Better"---well, anyways, RIP to yet another Beatle-related icon.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

WHOA..sad news indeed. She had a full life and from what I've seen in recent interviews, she was happy. Rest in Peace.

Her "Twist of Lennon" book was the first Beatles book I ever bought, in 1980, about 6 months before John was killed. I was always impressed how she never knocked John, even though he really gave her some bad times, before and after becoming famous. She always seemed to stress the better things. RIP and condolences to Julian.

RIP Cynthia Lennon and blessings on her family and Julian Lennon. As much as I LOVE John Lennon I cannot imagine the hard life Cynthia and Julian must have had. In spite of all that she made the very best and raised a VERY sweet and talented son. May she rest in peace. She was a very interesting human being, intelligent woman and caring human being no matter what life threw in her path.

This is getting depressing, first Leonard Nimoy, then James Best now Cynthia Lennon, very sad.
