      In a caged death match, Tom would destroy Neil, but as for the best showman, I don't know.

              Tom Jones hands down. Not only is he a great showman but he had that role in Mars Attacks. Its a cool guy that can spoof himself in a movie like that.

                  I still vividly remember watching Tom Jones' TV show when I was about 3 and rockin' out with a toy microphone so I gotta go with him...

                                      It has to be Tom Tones...er I mean Tom Jones.
                                      He's got the tight pants and the swiveling hips...
                                      and that shouting / screaming voice.
                                      Plus he's from Wales...unlike me

                                              I've been thinking about this today after Neil popped up on my ipod in shuffle mode. You can't compare the two, really. Tom is all manly animal magnetism, but he's not the songwriter Neil is. Both are great showmen, both a little cheesey (chest hair vs. those shirts Neil wore). Neal's the better artist, but Tom Jones was kidnapped by Mr. Burns to woo Marge.

                                                  Neil will play Fenway Park in August and they do play Sweet Caroline every 7th inning stretch but I still gotta pick TJ. "What's new Pussycat?? Whoa A Whoa A Whoa A Whoooa Whoooa!!!

                                                      Neil Diamond all the way. There is a reason why he is consistently one of the top grossing concert performers every year. Tom might put on a nice Vegas style show, but Neil is busy selling out major venues.
