Weather is a fickle, fickle thing! Shorts one day, snow the next!! Craaaazy!! Hopefully your tulips will recover!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

It's like they say in the Ohio Valley region... If you don't like the weather, just wait a couple of days. It WILL change.

I keep reminding my friends who are already sprucing up their yards that about once every ten or fifteen years, the biggest snowstorm of the season comes in April. We are about due for an April blizzard.

My father-in-law always said never plant anything until after Easter. Of course, perrennials (sp) come up on their own, so no stopping that.

Weather's all messed up here, too.
Yesterday it was spring, now it's early winter again.

We got 5 inches of snow in NYC on Friday...just when I thought we were done with it for the season. Oh well, it melted away quickly. It's still pretty chilly here, however.

I'm originally from the Ohio valley (Evansville) and Tom is right. One day it's snowing and two days later it's 67 degrees and sunny! I always appreciated that reprieve. That just doesn't seem to happen in the northeast.
