I like'em on hot.Not ignorantly hot but hot enough that after the 3rd or 4th wing your starting to sweat a little. There use to be an Auzzie place in town that had wings with taz sauce, they were AWESOME!!!!!Comment

En fuego
Gimme the hot ones, but not at the expense of flavor. I'd rather have a medium with a good flavor than a hot that overpowers everything. I don't mind a little ring-sting the next day, but the taste has to be worth it.Comment

I'm a terrible Mexican because I can't take heat too well, especially since my experience of foolishly eating an entire raw Habanero pepper...I have never been the same since, lol.
I mean, I love heat, but I usually start sweating and my eyes start watering.
The rare times I eat buffalo wings, I usually like them medium, nice kick but not too much......
I like mine Super hot so hot there should be fire coming out of your buttComment

Due to medical issues with my stomach and other things, I can't eat anything spicy or peppery hot anymore. I used to love hot saucesSo now it's "mild" for me.
Usually if I get wings I like the teriyaki kind, they're pretty mild and have a great flavor, or honey barbecue.Comment

Medium....something with a little kick but not overbearing.
My brother on the other hand eats some super hot food. His wife's parents are from Mexico and the father and my brother will eat habenero peppers like nobody's business.
I don't know if those peppers kill the taste buds after a while but he told me that Jalapeno peppers have no flavor to him."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

When offered a choice, I usually choose... teriyaki.
When forced to choose, most places medium is usually fine for me, unless they rightly take "pride" in their heat (ie you can tell when they are making it through the kitchen doors). When that is the case, either Mild or sauce on the side is the only way to go.

A great way is to get rid of both the seeds and veins, then chooped them up really fine, and dilute them with lemon/lime juice and some water. The heat will subside, and then you'll be able to appreciate the wonderful flavor of the habanero, it's better than the jalapeño.sigpicComment

My brother and his father in law pickle them in some type of vinegar and water and will eat them right out of the jar....seeds/veins, etc.
As a side note, I really did not know this but it is obvious now....his father in law told me never drink water if a pepper is too hot and burning your mouth...the water does nothing.
He told me to drink milk or some other dairy product as the alkalinity of the dairy will help neutralize the acidity of the pepper."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
