Well, so much for the "soda is bad" theory...LOL

104 year old credits longevity to three Dr. Peppers every day for over 40 years...that's a LOT of soda.

Intelligent search from Bing makes it easier to quickly find what you’re looking for and rewards you.

Sometimes I think doctors don't really know what is good or bad for you...I've lost count how many times they've gone back and forth on stuff like eggs, milk, etc.

If that's the only sugary item she consumes all day, I can see where her body has no issues. It's usually all the high carbs and fats people eat with those drinks that builds that belly of love.

BS!...Soda is a breeding ground for Cancer and Diabetes...

Soda is an Acidic drink (Cancer thrives in an Acidic body environment)

Most Soda contains High Fructose Corn Syrup (High concentrated sugar which is BIG cause for Diabetes and Heart disease) Too much sugar is certainly not good for you, especially white Sugar (White poison).Again,Sugar also makes the body Acidic

Soda also contains Phosphoric Acid which is known to leech Calcium from your bones, which make the bones weaker..If you put a boiled egg in a glass of soda,it will dissolve the shell to nothing as the egg shell is made of Calcium. Also,Soda is also a known remedy for being a Rust remover or cleaning a car battery.

Some Soda's (especially Diet) contain Aspartame, which is a chemical additive known for causing Cancer and Alzheimer's

This addictive drink will cause eventual health problems over time and it would be best for optimal health to stay away from it

Every year the press finds somebody who lived to be 100 and focus on their bad habit, the byline is always "and he smoked for 88 years" or some dumb crap. Lemmy Kilmeister drank a bottle of Jack every day for 37 years and doesn't have a grey hair on his head, I still don't recommend doing that.

Just because one soda drinker lived a long healthy life, the empirical data more than damns drinking soda every day. High fructose corn syrup is a poison.

When I go off soda, I go through withdrawals and feel like crap for at least a week. Within two months I lose 3-5 pounds, and eventually feel better than when I was drinking it. It's hell on teeth too.

Sipping a 'real sugar' Pepsi as I type this:-( I won't let my kids touch the stuff. I fell off the wagon a few months ago when I decided to take a break from booze. God knows what would happen if I gave up toys.

I gave up soda years ago. In truth, I may have one like once a year, but actually I don't miss it too much.

Whenever I drink soft drinks, I usually stick to ones made with pure cane sugar. In saying that, I don't even drink one weekly (many times, not monthly).

Yeah I remember people doing that with George Burns. They never mentioned the fact he did push-ups when he first got up in the morning.

Just drink Seltzer water. You'd be surprised how after about a month, you don't miss soda.

I stopped drinking all soda's almost 15 years ago. It was tough at first, but I don't even have any interest in them anymore. I drink water, an iced tea from time to time, and milk for breakfast occasionally. No coffee or hot tea for me either.

When I was a little kid, cokes were a treat that we had from time to time, not something we had every day and certainly not at every meal. By the time I was a teenager that changed. Not sure why the change. Probably my parents made more money and could afford it. Now, I don't think of a carbonated drink as a treat; it's just an option.

Read the ingredients in Mountain Dew, after reading about 25 different chemicals, the last one says
simply (yellow #5) Wikipedia that, you'll never touch the stuff again, and that used to be my
favorite soda. I usually go for spring water, vitamin water, low fat milk, and "yes" sometimes
a ginger ale, sprite or pepsi every blue moon but not to often.

I don't smoke, drink coffee or alcohol. Diet Coke is my only vice and the only thing that can put a dent into my migraines.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
