Aww. My girls at home have puppy fever. We already have 3 cats who are a handful, but I'm sure I'll break down eventually.
It is a wonderful thing to have a pet who imprints onto you. As you say, they follow you everywhere. Words can't describe how incredible it is. I wasn't born a cat person, but one of our cats became my lifelong buddy. Elvira is 17 years old now, and she's by me no matter what I'm doing.

When I'm painting he sits at my side and just stares up at me like "Hey, what are you doing? You're supposed to be playing with me!" But he never leaves. He just patiently waits for me to pet him every few minutes.Comment
