I really needed some good news this week and found it in a most unlikely place, PayPal.
My wife tried to transfer some money from our PayPal account into my bank account, for some reason she used an old email that I had that I never use, and the money was transferred into a PayPal account that I basically don't remember even setting up.
Problem was, I couldn't for the life of me remember the password, and the email I used to set it up is now non existent (it was one giving to me for use while I was in collage a few years back and it expires 2 years after you are no longer register at the school).
To make a long story short when I contacted PayPal they informed me she (my wife) had made deposits into the PayPal account a few times over the last bunch of years totalling over $700. I'd go on a toy buying spree but I'm sure if I did something would go wrong with my car the next day.
Anyways, if you ever had more than one PayPal account you'd best check to make sure it's empty, they're not going to contact you to tell you the money's there.
