Original Fantastic Four movie & Dr Strange?

Hi everybody! Does anybody have a good quality copy of the original Fantastic four movie and the DR Strange movie on DVD? I cant seem to find it for a price i want to pay. I heard those movies are horrid, but i still want to watch them.

I believe the original FF movie was never released, not sure about Dr. Strange!

if you have either or both please PM me and let me know how much.

    Thanks

You're probably best leaving the FF movie alone as it will give you nightmares . I've never seen the Doc Strange one, I've never had the desire to pick it up after seeing screen shots.

You should be able to pick one up cheap copies on Ebay.

Dr Strange was a made for TV movie and it actually wasn't that bad considering it was from the 70s era. It wasn't a masterpiece by any stretch but it was just as good as say a first season episode of Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter.

I actually think th e old version of FF was BETTER than the new one. Yes, the new one is crystal clear as opposed to grainy copies of the old -but that doesn't have anything to do with the actual movie. The new one had bigger special effects. That's all I can say for that rubbish. They are both borderline movies.

Since it is hard to find good quality Corman FF and their is a new version available, just forget about the old.

The Doctor Strange movie was well done. It is dated now but still not a bad movie to watch.

I have a pretty good copy of Strange. I taped it from TV years ago. Unfortunately I used the SLP mode and I think I even dubbed it to another tape to edit out commercials. I have since, transfered it to DVD.

My FF copy is not great but not as bad as some I have seen. I think I transfered it to DVD.

You can not find these on eBay anymore. eBay forbids it and is pretty quick to yank these auctions.

I have the new Doctor Strange animation if anyone wants it. I was really impressed with the modern reboot of it. I didn't care for Baron Mordo on steroids but it was an overall good animation.

Here's part 1 of Dr. Strange on youtube. You can keep following the links to watch it in it's entirety. Each segment is about 10 minutes long. But keep in mind it is from 1978 so expect it to be dated.

I second the opinion that the 1990 Corman FF movie is superior to the recent version, except in the area of big budget special FX. It has all the charm and goofiness of a vintage Kirby comic book, doesn't take itself too seriously and is totally true to the characters -- without any phoney-baloney invisible stripping scene with Sue. Sure, the FX are cheap and dated, but what makes a good movie? For me the answer is plot and character, and the 1990 FF has both of those over the 2005 movie.

Late on this, but I thought the guy who played Doom was a better fit. Also the Thing looked so much better. Some one could have a lot of fun redoing the SFXs on this ala Star Wars as the main problem was making the Human Torch effects within their $1 million budget at that time.
