Never would have occurred to me that a NKOTB Deck would fetch that kind of price. I guess it's a combination of the Pop Phenom of Skateboard Art, Randy Colvin, and vintage New Kids collectibles.

    Wow!!! A triple threat...

I had a girlfriend in highschool who was so into NKOTB, she thought Joey was going to take her to the prom. No. Seriously. And she told me this. Her boyfriend.

If any of the group misses this tour, its probably because she has them in a cellar putting lotion on their skin.

It was during the early days of World Industries when they were collecting as many Cease and Desist orders as possible. I've got a used Randy Colvin "Colvinetics" deck on the way to me now that really ****ed off the Scienos back in the early 90's. The brothers that I'm selling for have a collection not too far off from the recent Mego auctions from the former employee, a pile of one of a kind decks that just happened to not sell back in the late 80's, early 90's.
Absolutely hilarious to see a price tag that big attached to NKOTB though.

I was seriously conflicted by the fact that Donnie Wahlberg played Carwood Lipton in one of the best mini-series ever (and he did a hell of a job). Totally changed my opinion of him. Oh-Oh-oh-oh-oh...the Battle of the Bulge.

A few years ago, I went to see an off-Broadway show, and Joey McIntyre was the lead. Although I've outgrown them and got rid of their tapes, the 12-year-old in my head was still a little excited. I got his autograph after the show and he gave me a hug. He's actually a pretty good actor, I have to admit
He is the first one to suffer from severe anxiety disorder. I know Barbra Streisand and Donny Osmond have suffered severe stage fright or anxiety disorder. There are ways to treat it through cognitive therapy and medication so possibily it is at a reasonable level now.

Not a big fan of NKOTB, but since they were local they got a lot more hype in this area when they were big. Donnie and Mark are huge Sox and Celtics fans so they pop up quite a bit and have been in our stores also I'm told. NKOTB isn't any worse than some of the crap I hear my daughter listen to now. They also haven't had any issues the way many music performers have. For as big as they were they were also pretty well behaved during the run, which is unheard of nowadays. I agree they should cash in and make whatever $$ they can. If someone is willing to pay $40 a ticket to see them they should do it.

Most of the guys in my first band (Metal Storm) are fat, bald and retired. Besides my brother, we are all that is left from that old school scene. I couldn't imagine any amount of money getting our old guitar player JD off the computer and any guitaar strap large enough to go around his man boobs for any tour.

I saw that NKOTB were going to be on the Today show to announce their reunion tour, so I actually watched it to see how they had aged. Danny always looked like a monkey, but he looks really bad now. I've seen Joe and Donny in stuff from time to time, and they look ok - like they've aged pretty normally. Jordan doesn't seem to have changed much, but his brother Jon just looks old. During the interview, he said that he had been working in real estate! At least he must have gotten therapy for the anxiety disorder. I have loved ones who deal with that and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
