    I just told my wife that Leonard Nimoy died, she told me she broke my Spock glass this morning putting the dishes away.

                                      I thought it was weird that I had just started watching Star Trek on Netflix from the beginning the day before I heard he was sick. However, I think yours is spookier.

                                          Same here. Weirdly, I'd pulled out my blu-ray of TOS and watched "The Menagerie" the night before the news of his hospitalization broke.
