Yep, three times a week just to get the blood moving and keep everything fit & toned. Currently 5'8"; 150; 31w; 42c...not bad for a 52 year old desk jockey. I was nothing more than a wafer when I graduated high school @ 17...5'7"; 115; 25w; 32c. Could disappear by simply turning 45 degrees. Didn't really put much more meat on my bones till I hit 30ish.

Before my weight training...just walking...I'd eat no more than 1500 calories a day, with correct protein, fat, carbs ratio.

But now that lifting weights have been added to my regiment...I'll be eating in the 2500 calorie range.

I was nearly 400 pounds of Jabba the Hut slob, lol. I'm 280 now (6' 2")...want to be 250 by the Summer.

Getting ready for Yosemite...me a couple of friends have already booked a cottage for May 29-31...a three day weekend gateway...I want to be able to hike all day for three days there...the Valley, Glacier Point, and the Giant Sequoias.
Congrats on your success & and best wishes for your Summer goal. Sounds like you have a fantastic weekend planned, hope you have a great time. BTW...are we going to see all of your hard work reflected in a brand new avatar???

Back in the gym 4-5 nights a week usually machined weights and running on the elliptical machine. I also eat pretty healthy but it's mostly to maintain. I mean I drink like Don Draper most of the time. Monday -Fridays my body is a temple, on weekends, its a carnival.

Exercise yes. Wii biggest loser challenge 3x time a week with a weigh in/challenge on Saturday. I use a calorie counter in my phone to see where I should be and most days stay within or under goal. When I started the current regimen (I think last May) I was 245 lbs. I've gotten down to 211 and 1/2 so far. All in all I'd consider it "moderate" but for someone who's been an exercise guy I'm just please dot find something that works and is reasonable for me to keep up.

Certainly a motivator for days when I'd rather just park it on the couch after a tiring day.

I cycle every day between 75-90 mins a session. I try to run 3 times a week 3miles to 5miles (when I'm not battling one illness or another.) I do local 5ks, have started on 10ks and am working my way to a half marathon. (hopefully one day.)

I power walk everyday and work out every other day except on weekends. I gained a lot of weight after my daughter was born and started having health issues. I changed the way I ate, started working out and dropped 40 pds last year. I'm 190 pds now and my goal this year is to get down to a healthy 170. went from a 40 waist down now to 34....and my goal is to get to 30. I'm healthier now and more active.

I play indoor soccer every Sunday night. In fact I have a game in about 2 hours. We started playing 2 years ago. It's a lot of running.

Bets exercise I've had recently is scooping really cold ice cream out of the carton. I think I'm getting stronger, though. Last week I bent a spoon...
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I used to be an avid cyclist, but as my balance degenerated due to a congenital vascular issue, I lost the ability to ride without falling off my bike. At that point, I began walking five or six days a week, but as the balance issues worsened, I began to fall while walking. I went about two years then without doing anything because I was so afraid of hurting myself. During that time, I looked for a suitable recumbent exercise bike, which I finally found in a thrift store for 99 cents.

Since then, I plunk a movie in and pedal five or six days a week, trying to "watch" a movie a day. By "watch", I mean listen, but it gives me a nice goal every day instead of staring at the basement wall for and hour and a half. In January, I had enough money and confidence saved up and I bought a recumbent tadpole trike. It is outfitted with safety bars and a seatbelt so I can't imagine not staying firmly planted in the seat. I tinkered around with Velcro straps and have a way to conveniently strap my cane easily to the bike. I cannot wait for the Spring and dry roads on which to ride.
