I click on the thread, it's white and gold. I click on the second link, then come back to this thread and it's black and blue. I feel like I need a shrink.

My wife sees black and blue - I see white and gold. There was split second where I turned away and turned back and it was black and blue, but I quickly lost it, so maybe it's like those 3D posters they sold in malls in the 90s? Maybe there's a way to trick your brain into seeing it both ways on purpose?
In real life the dress is black and blue - so knowing that might help trick some people's brains into seeing it correctly, but I'm having trouble.
In any case - I've used this argument many many times - our eyes aren't precise tools, everything we see gets processed and shaped to make the things we see make sense for our brain. This is why optical illusions work.

Optical illusions?
How about this? Which circles are rotating?
Never seen white and gold in any of the pictures posted on the Internet of this dress, always blue and black.
And I have some blue/green colour blindness. I can't tell the difference between a blue/green crayon and a green/blue crayon. No trouble telling you that Aquaman's pants are green though
That's a great one, Lonnie. I like playing with the browser window by scrolling up and cutting part off - playing with how much of that you need to see to get them moving around again.
I like this video, because you can't help but see the illusion even as he's describing what's happing to you:
I've seen a few articles about this dress phenomena show this illusion:
Squares A and B are the same colour.
I showed this to my sister in-law last night, and she didn't believe me until I showed it to her in photoshop in two separate screens. Here's a screenshot of that:
