Birdman wins Best Picture at the Oscars

So, now that "Birdman" has won Best Picture, do you think that a live-action "Space Ghost" feature film will be far behind?

      Pretty funny!

I watched the movie right before the Oscars and thought it was great.

I really need to see this. I honestly didn't know it had come out. I remember hearing about it, and the next thing I know it's nominated for an Oscar!

So glad to see Keaton getting some long overdue love. If ever a film was made for ONE actor, this is it.

^Yeah, Keaton's low celebrity profile, and frankly his fairly small body of work has made him kind of disappear from time to time. Glad his peers finally recognized him with an Oscar nomination, and a Golden Globe.

I don't really care either way, but that seemed like the "Montreal Screw Job" of the acting world. Anyone other than that dude should have won.

I'm embarrassed to admit I know exactly what you mean without looking it up

I was lucky enough to watch Birdman when it was playing in our town and loved it. I thought for sure Michael Keaton had a great shot at winning an Oscar for best actor or he was going to lose to Bradley Cooper. When they announced the winner was the kid who played Stephen Hawking, I turned the channel in disgust. I was also disappointed Guardians of the Galaxy didn't win for best makeup. It goes to show the Oscar voters are a dim witted lot!
