    The Habit Burger Grill

One just opened in Alameda, the town right next to Oakland...oh boy...what an awesome place...the CharBurger is super delicious, yum.

I'm still an In N Out guy...but man...Habit Burger has more of a selection, they even serve tri tip steak sandwiches, albacore tuna filets, grilled chicken, veggie burgers, BBQ, teriyaki, mushroom, salads, etc.

The next one I'm going to order is their Santa Barbara style burger, it's a double Char Burger with cheese, avocado...all on a grilled sourdough bread, yeah, baby. I want to try the trip tip steak one too, lol.

I prefer this one over Five Guys, no doubt....cheaper too, as you can get a meal that consists of a Double Char Burger, fries, and a drink...$7.50, that's just a bit more than In N Out prices.

I highly recommend Habit Burger, a step above your fast food joint...

On the other side of the coin, I went to another new burger joint chain, Smashburger...I was highly disappointed...for the burgers are rather on the small side, and expensive. A double cheeseburger, small fries, and a drink...cost me a whopping $12.50, well screw that...no more future Smashburger visits from me.

      Habit Burger:

"In mid-2014 the Habit gained national attention when their signature Charburger was named the best burger in America by Consumer Reports. They scored an 8.1 out of 10 among 53,745 participants in the testing coming out first in front of local competitor In-N-Out which came in second. Since then several other food critics have praised the Habit's burgers."

Love a great burger. In fact, eating one now with cheddar, bacon, pickles, and Jalepenos. And a Mac & Jack's chaser.

Habit is good stuff! I always tell myself I love In 'N Out more, but then I have a Habit charburger and I question that just a little.

Yeah, they started in Santa Barbara.

Had a double-double animal style today, but did consider going to The Habit instead.

^Never heard anybody in California talk like they did in that weird skit.

Love The Habit...we have tons of them here in Ventura & LA. The Albacore Tuna filet is awesome, but their burgers with "in season" local avocados are the absolute best. Damn...I'm getting hungry now!

I stay away from burger joints because I always get the same thing, an order of double-chin with a side of badonkadonk.
