I removed the hubcaps...now it has these...

American Racing Torque Thrust D's...very similar to Steve McQueen's fastback wheels in Bullit.

Well, everything has been done except for the paint...and at the moment is getting an all brand new electrical wiring throughout...so it's almost there...man...it's been two years trying to finish that sucker, lol.

    Great car, Starsky!!!

Anyhow, other than Mego, I collect 1:6 scale figures, and vintage WWII United States military clothing and filed gear. I would like to also collect Super Powers, FP Adventure People and guitars, eventually.

i got lucky with the torino. it was garaged and was kept in great condition. when i got it, the plastic seat covers were still on the car. ford made about 1000 cars with the s&h paint theme back in 1976 since the show was so popular.

    That's friggin' awesome!

I knew you had that one from previous posts.

I almost bought a Torino years ago but it had too much rust, so I passed.

How long it took you to fully restore it?

...and is that Black Beauty yours as well?

Seriously, though, the car is very cool. I'll bet that when you drive down the street you see people's faces erupting into smiles when they notice you. Well, people who know S&H...

I collect GI Joes and his various cousins from around the World. Captain Action too (PM version).

I'm crazy about slot cars. I've got a customized Eldon Crash Car Derby Track (3 intersections instead of 1) and a customized Scalextric Track. I have a modest collection of Slot Cars -- all runners.

Plastic models -- the repops of the 1960's hits. I've got numerous Polar Lights, and other classics like the Monkee Mobile. I haven't built any yet... I'm just in acquisition mode.

SPCA dogs. 2 right now: an Irish Wolfhound / Collie cross, and an Otterhound / Briard cross. They're both pretty big... And time consuming... They like the taste of Action Figures; Slot cars make them crazy...
thanks for the compliments! people definitely get a kick out of the car and yes i am truly amazed at your "psychic" abilities.
